...following this motto we already start the shindig at Dresdens "Schlossplatz" market on December 30th: Culinary delicacies and warm drinks, music as well as our artificial ice rink guarantee fun and amusement all day long. You can also party here after New Year's Eve until January 2nd.
Daily from 7pm our Live-DJ starts playing the best music. On December 31st Germany's finest New Year's Party for kids already starts at 6pm. After this DJ S-Bone rocks the „Schlossplatz“ ground until late after midnight.
On New Year's Eve the "Theaterplatz" marketplace is transformed into a party mile. First-class sound from our live-stage makes the whole "Theaterplatz" dance.
With the entertainers "Thomas Stelzer Trio" and "Hot Frogs" we have hired two live bands, who know how to get the crowd going and guarantee a unique New Year's Eve atmosphere. The evening is presented by DJ Christoph Herrmann from the German music channel "Hitradio-Antenne".
The highlight of the night is the fireworks display of pyrotechnics artist Tom Roeder. The historical buildings are brightly illuminated and in the centre of "Theaterplatz" the peoples' wishes will rise fulminatly into the sky.
A novelty of this years' Silvester celebration will be the heated „Culinaria Tent“ in front of Zwinger Palace. Within the area you can be close to the action on the market and on stage while having a glass of sparkling wine and enjoying delicious appetizers. The feast for the palate is prepared by no one else than Dresdens' award-winning chef Stefan Herrmann and sushi king Wolle Förster.

This is also the motto of the organizers 2009/2010. To be able to provide safety during the turn
of the year and to ensure family and friends having a non-hazardous New Year's Eve 2009,
we invest into an increased safeguarding system. There will be admission control on all
access points. All visitors pay a small entrance fee of 3,00 EUR plus an advance booking fee,
the payment at the box office 4,00 EUR.
